Quark cups, 2 x 6 x 200g, ‘Ravensberger’

Problem and task:

• Optimisation of the existing ‘Lying flat in a corrugated cardboard tray’ presentation
• Cups of quark were placed on the shelf at eye level and were difficult or impossible for consumers/shoppers to see

Solution provided by BayPack:

• Changeover of the carton design to a ‘BayPack Zipp + Knack’ version with 2 x 6 x 200g
• Material: Compact board w2. 700g
• BayPack Zipp + Knack can be divided into two individual trays containing upright quark pots, facing the shopper on the shelf
• Cups of quark are transported lying flat until they are displayed, and are only placed upright once the packaging has been opened (advantage: the quark cream does not ‘sink to the bottom’)

• Optimal brand and product recognition on the shelf
• Optimisation of pallet utilisation
